Ukulele Project

The ukulele project is new, and deliberately so. It begins as a narrative: an attempt to place the instrument in context and give shape to the scattered material that already exists online.

Rather than adding more tutorials, the aim is to curate – to take the best of what players and teachers have shared and frame it inside a coherent musical story. The 10‑part uke narrative is the spine of that story, and over time it will guide how videos, ideas, and lessons are linked and understood.

As it grows, the project will offer newcomers a clear introduction to the instrument – not through a single method, but by showing how the uke works, where it comes from, and how to explore it with confidence.

And if uke.ie can find a way to serve and support the needs of Irish ukulele groups and players, I will try to do that.
